How to Pass Your Booked Court to Someone Else on CourtPeep
Updated August 5, 2026
People sell or hand off court bookings informally all the time, usually by sending a screenshot and hoping for the best. CourtPeep has a real transfer feature built for exactly this, so there’s a confirmed record of who’s actually showing up instead of a screenshot that could’ve already been used.
Here’s the actual process, start to finish.
1
Share your booking’s ticket link
Open the booking from My Bookings. Every booking has its own ticket page with a QR code (the same one the venue scans you in with), and that link is what the other player needs to request it. Send it however’s easiest: text, chat, whatever.
2
They request it
The person you’re passing it to opens the link, signs in (or creates a free account if they don’t have one), and taps "Request to take this booking" on the ticket page.
3
You confirm
You’ll see the request in My Bookings with their name attached. Tap "Confirm pass" to approve it, or decline if you change your mind. Only one request can be pending on a booking at a time, so there’s no risk of it going to the wrong person.
4
It changes hands
Once you confirm, the transfer is immediate. They become the official holder, the venue’s manager gets notified by message and email, and the full history (who held it, when it moved) stays attached to the booking.
Good to know
This exists specifically to prevent the scam where someone sells a booking that’s already been cancelled or reused elsewhere. A transferred booking is a confirmed handoff the venue can actually see, not a screenshot.
Only the current holder can confirm a request. Whoever’s asking can’t force it through, and you can decline for any reason.
Passing a booking is different from cancelling it. If you just want it gone, cancel from My Bookings instead, subject to the venue’s own cancellation window (usually free up to 24 hours before the slot).
Frequently asked
Can I sell my CourtPeep booking to someone else?
You can pass it to them through the transfer feature at no charge from CourtPeep. Any money changing hands for the slot itself is between the two of you; CourtPeep doesn’t process payment for a transfer.
Does the person taking over my booking need a CourtPeep account?
Yes. They need to sign in or create a free account to request it, since the transfer has to attach to a real account for the venue’s records.
What if the current holder never responds to my request?
It just stays pending. There’s no automatic timeout or expiration, so if it’s time-sensitive, reach out to them directly instead of waiting on it.
